Our Core Beliefs

​We, as a New Testament Church, practice the following beliefs:
• Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.
MATTHEW 3:16,17
• The absolute authority of the Bible, as it is the inspired word of God.
II TIMOTHY 3:14-17
• Every person has worth as a creation of God, as all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
ROMANS 3:22,23
• The grace of God, a free gift, is available through what the Bible calls salvation or forgiveness of sins to all who trust in Christ Jesus.
MATTHEW 26:28; EPHESIANS 2:8,9; JOHN 3:16; ROMANS 10:9,10
• Trusting God means seeking God by repenting of personal sin, by confessing Christ publicly, by being baptized into Jesus and by daily becoming more like Jesus.

• The Bible teaches baptism by immersion. While we do not teach that baptism alone saves us, rather it is Jesus who saves us; we do believe that God uses Christian baptism as an opportunity for us to express our faith and obedience in His ability to save us.
